MYAGDI, MAR 16 - Two persons died while another sustained serious injuries in a dozer accident at Niskot VDC-3 in the district on Saturday.

The incident occurred as a huge landmass tumbled down and swept away the dozer while it was digging a track. The vehicle fell some 500 metres down the freshly dug track. Police identified the deceased as assistant dozer operator Kul Bahadur Pun of Takam-7 and Pradip Pun of Niskot-9. Balkrishna Khatri, the dozer operator, of Takam-7 sustained serious injuries in the incident. The injured is receiving treatment at Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara.
