MANTHALI, MAR 11 - One person was burnt to death when a fire broke out due in a lodge in Ramechhap district on Tuesday night.

Police said that Pushpa Lal Nepali, 45, of Pokhari-7 in Sindhuli district, was burnt to death when the fire broke out at the lodge belonging to Hari Bahadur Shrestha. One Dhan Bahadur BK, who had stayed in the lodge with Nepali, suffered serious burns in the fire. He has been ferried to the Capital for treatment.

Police suspects that the fire was caused by electrical leakage. Three neighbouring houses were also damaged in the fire. The fire was doused at around mid-night by locals and police personnel.
